SOFIA by Moneta · AI fleet dispatcher

The whole fleet's plan, already compliant.

For full-truckload transport: schedule forecasting, trucks, drivers and rests for the whole week. Fewer km, the same trucks, always within the driving-time rules.

The SOFIA story

Before and after, in four minutes.

6 h

In the dispatcher's head

  • ?Who already drove 9 hours yesterday?
  • ?Who has to take the weekly rest at home?
  • ?Which truck is closest to the 6 o'clock load?
  • ?The site opens at 5:30, 10 minutes' tolerance
  • ?A 45-minute break after 4 h 30 of driving
  • ?What if on Tuesday the trucks are not enough?

Hours on Excel, from memory. And the cheapest plan often cannot be driven.

The rule that cannot be negotiated · EC 561

A driver's day.

13 h
working day at most, then 11 h of rest
45 min
break after 4 h 30 of driving
9 h
of driving a day · 56 a week · 90 in two
At home
the weekly rest, never two reduced in a row

SOFIA rechecks every plan minute by minute, driver by driver. It places the breaks itself.

Built for full truckload · FTL

A full truck, door to door.

  • 33 pallet places · 24 t

    one load fills the truck

  • Loading and unloading windows

    on-time arrival, 10 minutes' tolerance

  • The right trailer

curtainsider or reefer, hitching and unhitching at hubs in 20 min

  • Driving times

breaks and rests already inside the plan

One load, one truck: it is all in the sequence. And that is where SOFIA finds the km.

How SOFIA is made

Maths that does not err, AI that reasons.

The mathematical engine writes the plan. The AI agents think like an experienced dispatcher: they propose moves, they do not write the plan.

  1. 01

    Your data

Excel, CSV or the TMS, in one format

  2. 02

    Maps and times

roads for heavy trucks, stops hour by hour

  3. 03

    Mathematical engine

which truck, in what order, at what time

  4. 04

    Rule check

    every driver, every minute

  5. 05

    The plan

day by day, with the report

The AI proposes · the engine recalculates · the check verifies · the person decides.

At night · the AI agents

They try an experienced dispatcher's moves.

  • 1Use the 10 driving hours allowed, twice a week

    kept · −42 km
  • 2Join the outbound and return legs between two cities

    kept · −96 empty km
  • 3Assign a load to one specific truck

dropped · a load is left behind
  • 4Bring a truck's shift forward by 30 minutes

    kept · one delay fewer
  • 5Correct a hub's dwell time

kept · a plan closer to reality
  • 6Park a truck for the day

    dropped · one delay more

The plan's cost drops only when a move really improves it: no load lost, no extra delay. Each agent has a maximum spending budget.

The dashboard · the chat with SOFIA

You talk to SOFIA, like a colleague.

Truck 12 is in the workshop until Thursday. Replan.

SOFIA

Done. Truck 12's loads until Thursday move to trucks 7, 19 and 23. All compliant, +38 km, no load uncovered.
And if Padua sends 6 extra loads tomorrow?

SOFIA

With tomorrow's estimate you need 2 more trucks from 5:00. The best scenario brings trucks 4 and 31 forward: cost +2%. Shall I prepare it?
Yes, prepare it.

Plan, map, scenarios, forecasts, drivers and lessons: the plan changes under the operator's eyes, the drivers get the notice.

It learns every day

It compares the plan with what happened.

From the trucks' GPS, a model learns the dwell time hour by hour: a warehouse at 8 is not the same as at 15. When plan and reality disagree, it proposes a lesson.

Lesson no. 214

Confirmed
Seen
arrival hub, between 7 and 9
What happened
average unloading of 50 minutes, the plan allowed 30
Probable cause
truck queue at opening time
Proposed rule
between 7 and 9 count 50 minutes, or arrive after 9

The manager confirms. From tomorrow it applies to every similar hub.

The data proposes, a person confirms. If the data stops backing it, the lesson goes back to review.

What a truck-day is

How many trucks go out each day, added up.

30 + 28 + 25 = 83 truck-days

451 against 450

About 21 trucks a day, the same. But with 15% fewer km and zero violations.

How it works

Three steps. The dispatcher always decides.

  1. 1

    Upload the schedule

Excel, CSV or from the TMS. If it has not arrived yet, SOFIA estimates it.

  2. 2

    SOFIA plans

Trucks, drivers, times, breaks and rests: all compliant.

  3. 3

    You decide

Check, change what you want and send it to the drivers.

Try SOFIA on your data.

Send us a week you have already planned: SOFIA replans it and shows you, load by load, the km, trucks and violations you would have saved. Free, no commitment.
